“In front of terrible acts like this that took the lives of 50 innocent people,” said the Congresswoman elected abroad, “there has to be a firm and steadfast condemnation of acts like these so they will not repeat themselves again, in addition to looking after and protecting the values of our democratic society.”

“The massacre of Orlando does not only hit America, but every democracy that puts the dignity of every person at the center of its being. So today, we embrace the American people,” underlined Nissoli, “but governments must be attentive and work to ensure that the State, Europe, and Italy, have the capacity to prevent the proliferation of this cancer of hate, intolerance, and terror.”
